盤の左端（a列）と右端（h列）がつながった円柱形のチェス。駒は端まで来ると反対側から出てくる形で、横方向に「壁抜け」しながら動ける。ルークやビショップ、クイーンは横・斜め方向に盤を一周でき、ナイトも端をまたいで跳べる。ポーンの前進・２歩前進は通常通り（縦方向は円柱でつながっていない）。キャスリングは通常配置のままなので、周回移動は関係しない。それ以外のルールは通常のチェスと同一。
The board wraps horizontally: the a-file and h-file are joined, like a cylinder. Rooks, bishops, and queens can slide off one edge and reappear on the other; knights can also jump across the seam. Pawns still only move forward/backward normally (ranks do not wrap). Castling uses the standard starting squares, so it never needs to cross the seam. All other rules are identical to standard chess.
